BE A GOOD PARENT TO THE STUDENTS AND DO THE WORK, AS THINGS WILL TURN AROUND FOR GOOD: PPSMB CHAIRMAN TO TEACHERS


The Executive Chairman of Enugu State Post Primary Schools Management Board, PPSMB Enugu, Dr. Favour Ugwuanyi mni fcism, called on teachers in the secondary education sector to always see themselves as mothers and parents to the students in their various schools and not a teacher alone, and also ministers of the gospel, and see things turn around for good in their individual lives.

The Executive Chairman of Enugu State Post Primary Schools Management Board, PPSMB Enugu, Dr. Favour Ugwuanyi mni fcism, called on teachers in the secondary education sector to always see themselves as mothers and parents to the students in their various schools and not a teacher alone, and also ministers of the gospel, and see things turn around for good in their individual lives.

Dr. Ugwuanyi made this known while addressing teachers at National Grammar School Nike, Trans Ekulu Girls Secondary School, Day secondary school independence layout and Government Secondary School, Enugu, during resumption monitoring and Supervision exercise of schools for 3rd term 2022/2023 academic session. She encouraged the teachers to always love and bear one another's burden.

She however reminded the teachers on the need to maintain the success already recorded in last year's WAEC in Enugu State. According to her, "let's teach the Children in order to maintain our legacy in WAEC" She equally commended the Principals of the schools visited for maintaining clean environment and making them condusive for learning. They were advised to provide opinion box where the teachers can air their views.

The monitoring team witnessed large turnout of students in most of the schools visited, as students were seen in their various classrooms ready to take their lessons.

The Executive Chairman made the visit with the, Permanent Secretary, Engr Remi Eze, the Director of Schools Supervision, Mrs Agbo Chinyere and others.
