In a determined move to key into the Gov. Mba's Smart School Initiative, the member representing Nkanu East/West Federal Constituency, Rt. Hon. Nnolim Nnaji has attracted a #1.5b project to Ozalla High School, the only beneficiary in Enugu State.

Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony on Saturday 16/11/24, Hon. Nnolim Nnaji said the project consists of:

1. Construction of Admin. Block.
2. Construction of ICT/E Library.
3. Construction of a Block of 6 classrooms.
4. Solar power 30kva.
5. Solar street lights
6. Water supply
7. Renovation of Laboratory
8. Renovation of existing classroom block
9. Furnishing of all new buildings.
10. He charged the contractor to deliver quality work and on time too. He assured Ozalla community, and indeed, the entire communities in Nkanu East/West Federal constituency that many other projects would from time be delivered to them.

Speaking at ceremony also, the Executive Chairman, Nkanu West Hon. John Ogbodo thanked Rt. Hon.Nnolim Nnaji for his very effective representation, stressing that the constituency has never had it so good, while giving kudos to the governor for his Smart School Initiative.

The SSA to the governor on Mainstream Media, Dan Nwomeh while laying foundation for the administration block, said the project remains the largest project in Ozalla by any tier of government, except perhaps for the smart school and type 2 Health Centre being handled presently by the Enugu State government.

The Principal of Ozalla High School, Comrade Simeon Akaeme thanked God Almighty for the gift of Rt. Hon.Nnaji, who by way, is an alumnus of Ozalla High school. The Executive Chairman of the PPSMB, Rev. Fr. Dr. Mgbodile was ably represented by Hon. Augustine Nwodo, the CSP Agbani Zone.
