BE SERIOUS: PERM. SEC. UGWUANYI mni, TELLS TRAINEES.
The Permanent Secretary, Enugu State Post Primary Schools Management Board, PPSMB, Dr. Favour Ugwuanyi mni, has advised participants in a special skills acquisition programme instituted by Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi to empower youths in Enugu State to take the training seriously.
She gave the advice today while addressing a general class of the participants at the PPSMB Headquarters, Enugu.
The Permanent Secretary described the programme tagged, "PROJECT O" as an outstanding democracy dividend for youth in Enugu State and commended the vision of Governor Ugwuanyi in introducing it.
She was particularly happy with the facilities and conducive environment the Governor provided to ensure the success of the programme meant for senior secondary school graduates waiting for admission into the university.
Dr. Ugwuanyi mni, urged the participants to pray for the governor, the PPSMB which is coordinating the programme and the instructors who are offering their services free.
The participants thanked Governor Ugwuanyi for the opportunity given to them and promised to make best use of it.
According to the Administrator of the programme, Ozor Martin's Ikechukwu, Computer appreciation, research writing and personal productivity development are taught in the general class.
Skills that can be acquired under PROJECT O. include computer literacy, web-design, graphics design, internet acquisition training, leadership training, fashion- design, make-up artist, weave on making, fruit juice production, barbing, hair stylist, automobile and shoe-making.
Fresh participants are selected at the end of every school session.
