The Executive Chairman of PPSMB, Dr. Favour Ugwuanyi (min, FCISM) who spoke through the HOB, Guidance and Counseling Unit of Post Primary Schools Management Board Headquarters Enugu, Mrs Nnaji Beatrice Chinelo told the students during the leadership training of the school functionaries at St. Theresa's College Nsukka to be role models for other students to emulate. She however stated that true leadership is based on honesty, authenticity and meaningful relationship. They were also reminded that a good leader must be disciplined, humble, possess good character and above all, strive for excellence.

Other speakers at the event were the CSP of Nsukka Education Zone, Mr Ekwunaife Christopher, Mr Okechi Benard, who spoke to the students on leadership and Challenges in school settings. Others were Agbo Scholastical who talked on Focused Students, while the zonal coordinator, Guidance and Counseling services Nsukka zone, Dr. Chibuko Victoria dealt on Get Rich Quick Syndrome among teenagers.

Highlight of the event was the candle light session, where the students were advised to keep shining so that the light will not turn off in their hands.

Conclusively, the students were made to understand the need to be good and useful to the society and themselves, and for others to emulate.
