CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP FOR DIRECTORS, CSPS AND PRINCIPALS IN ENUGU STATE. DAY 3

:CAPACITY BUILDING WORKSHOP FOR DIRECTORS, CSPS AND PRINCIPALS IN ENUGU STATE.

ON THE Theme, Principals and Youth Development in Secondary Schools in Enugu State, Rebuilding for a better future.

The administrative wizard and indefatigable Permanent Secretary, PPSMB, Enugu, Dr. Mrs. Favour Ugwuanyi, mni, was seen clearly on the 8th of April, 2022 at Nike- Lake Resort demonstrating what she knows how to do best. Our dear Perm. Sec. attracted ebullient and eminent professors from all walks of life, particularly, those from National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies, kuru, Jos, Plateau state to Enugu State for a 3- day ( 7th - 9th April, 2022) workshop on CAPACITY BUILDING for CSPs of the six education zones, over 290 Public Secondary School Principals and Directors of PPSMB at Nike-Lake Resort where , all, were fully lodged and fed in styles to ease the tension of the work load. WHAT a show of interest and concern for quality education in Enugu State ! The first of its kind since the state was created. WHAT this our dynamic, energetic, idealist and model of leadership, a complete initiator and a goal getter as well as a builder, in fact, Madam Project, and in all, a God fearing Evangelist has done in our education industry and PPSMB in particular for just one year and barely two months she came back from training at NIPSS, speaks volumes. SHE quickly announced that she is everybody's friend and a friend of none, AND that she does not have permanent friend nor permanent enemy. That anyone who is upright and faithful, her VESSEL/BOAT is ever ready to carry him/her from Enugu state to Jerusalem. SHE, no sooner than later, decentralized the Board and put in serious force and check, division of labor, and placed monthly reward for achievers which in turn, is yielding maximum out put from our administrators at the Board and School Principals as well as teachers vis a vis quality education in the state. SHE built basic skills centres at the Board and employed able hands to teach our students in the following skills:- Tailoring, Home economics ( Food & Nuts ), Barbing, Hair dressing, Fashion and Design, Sale of Wiggs, Detergent Making, Auto Mechanic, etc. Hence, the birth of ONE STUDENT-- ONE SKILL in our Secondary school system today. AMONGST others, include a model Sick- Bay she built and employed qualified doctors and nurses to take care of sick staff. A building for Gymnasium is almost completed and is being furnished. COME and see the all mighty Multi-purpose storey building complex under construction, then you bow. SHE attracted many philanthropists to our education industry that have helped so many of our students and are still helping them in the following capacities:- ONE gave over 250 students who passed JAMB last year scholarship in any Nigerian University of choice. ANOTHER, distributed sanitary pads to all the Girls student selected in all the public Secondary schools in the state, as well as Wheel chairs to indigent students, Caps and "T' shirts and equally gave fat envelopes to some selected Widows in each of the six education zones. ANOTHER, paid the WAEC and NECO fees for all the selected students in our public Secondary schools taking the exams this year. WHAT A COLOSSUS !. ONLY a permanent secretary and a woman for that matter, is doing all these things under a year and barely two months. WHAT happens when she is made a CHAIRMAN of any Board with all the authority and Veto powers ? The sky will be her limit. Mummy, well done. Thank you so much. THE famous Bob Marley of blessed memory sang a song that says ""who the cap fits, let him wear it". The bitter truth must be told no matter whose ox is gored. There is no gain saying that the Enugu state government ably led by our education friendly governor, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyichukw Lawrence Ugwuanyi ( GBURUS ) has gained so much sending our dear Perm. Sec. to NIPSS training at Kuru, Jos. WE say a big thank you to our dynamic, education friendly governor ( GBURUS ) for using his Eagle Eyes to fish out our dear Mummy and Perm. Sec., Dr. Mrs. Favour Ugwuanyi, mni and for all his financial assistance to our education industry. Remain blessed. WE say, may the good Lord be praised on the heads of our dear governor and our amiable perm, sec. for all their good works for the benefit of mankind, particularly, the less previledged in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy spirit, Amen. WE ARE GLAD.
