The Executive Chairman of the Post Primary Schools Management Board, Rev. Fr. Hilary Magbodile, accompanied by the Permanent Secretary of the board - Engr. Remy Eze, Rev. Fr. Franklin Eze, the Principal of St. Paul College Eke, and Directors from different departments of the board, visited the family of Mr. & Mrs. Val & Nkeiru Anidiobi to condone with them over the death of their daughter, Miss Nneoma Okey; who was shot dead by suspected Fulani Kidnappers, along Eke- Egede -Affa road on Thursday 9th November, 2023.

On arrival at the family compound, the parents of the late Nneoma couldn't hold back their tears as they wept uncontrollably over the loss.

In his words of consolation to the family and relatives, Fr. Mgbodile encouraged them to take solace in God as the entire state is saddened by the loss of their daughter. He assured them that PPSMB, Enugu, will continue to be with them in prayers.

The team also had a stopover at St. Paul's College Eke, where the late Nneoma was a student before her untimely death. The Board chairman also consoled the students and management of the school over the death of such a promising young girl.

He made it known to them that the entire state is in grief over the incident and that the government had put its words into action by moving tractors to clear the bushes along the Eke-Egede- Affa road. The chairman prayed for the students who were visibly traumatized by the incident.

The team met the auxiliary bishop of Enugu Catholic Diocese, who was present at the school to equally console the students and staff of the school.
May the Soul of Miss Nneoma Okey and the souls of the faithful departed, continue to rest in peace. Amen
