The new JS1 students of National Grammar school Nike have been advised to study hard, make positive friends that will make unique impact to their lives and the society at large
They were told not to form clicks or cult groups, avoid smoking or alcohol, stay away from homosexuality, stealing and other vices that are not acceptable in the society.
The Permanent Secretary of PPSMB Dr. Favour Ugwuanyi mni, spoke through the HOB, Guidance and Counseling Unit of Post Primary Schools Management Board PPSMB Headquarters Enugu, Mrs Nnaji Beatrice Chinelo during the orientation program for junior secondary school students NGSN, she advised the students to always report any case of bullying or violation of any form to their teachers, parents, guidance counselor or form teacher.
Others who spoke during the event are principal of the school, Mr Alaya, chairman of the event, Mr Omeje Emenika, the zonal coordinator guidance and counseling unit of Enugu zone, Mrs Okwu Justina, Mr Enebe Emeka, who talked on school rules and regulations, Mrs Ngozi Ene spoke about the importance of continuous assessment.
Parents of the students were also present at the event.
