ENUGU FIRST LADY, PPSMB PRAISED FOR TRAINlNG STUDENTS


A six weekends digital skills acquisition training for selected SS 3 students of three secondary schools in Enugu State has opened at the Enugu State Post Primary Schools Management Board, PPSMB, Headquarters, Enugu

The three schools are Holy Rosary College Enugu in Enugu South local government area, Queen's School Enugu in Enugu North local government area and Trans-Ekulu Girl's Secondary School in Enugu East local government area.
The training is sponsored by Ugo's Touch of Life Foundation, U-TOLF, a nongovernmental organization founded by the wife of the Enugu state governor, *Her* *Excellency,* *Mrs. Monica* *Ugochi Ugwuanyi* in collaboration with another nongovernmental organization, Heal Global and the PPSMB.
Declaring the training open today, (20/11/21), the Programme Manager, U-TOLF, Chiege Ugwuozor, commended *Her* *Excellency, Mrs.* *Monica Ugochi* *Ugwuanyi* and the collaborators for the programme aimed at equipping the 34 participants with digital skills that would assist them in their studies in particular and life in general.
She said that the space and training facilities provided by the Enugu state post primary Schools Management Board were wonderful.
Chiege Ugwuozor stated that the training was a rear opportunity which the participants were privileged to have been selected for out of over a thousand other students and urged them to take it seriously.
The training is part of U-TOLF activities marking 2021 International Day of the Girl Child with the theme "Digital Generation, Our Generation" which was celebrated in October.
Ugo's Touch of Life Foundation impacts positively on the lives of many people in Enugu State through various programmes including women empowerment, girl child education and maternal health care
