Enugu state is currently on the national news for the outstanding performance of the public secondary schools in 2021 WAEC results. To set the records straight, Enugu state shook Nig to its core with the amazing results as best performing state in Nigeria

It is without doubt that good news cause stomach upset and bitterness to enemies of progress. To sustain uninterrupted quality education, the chairman of PPSMB received approval of HE Gov Ugwuanyi to partner with Nigeria Civil defense and security corps for provision of special school protection services

The idea behind this is to ensure that every school in Enugu has fully armed , combat ready , members of the CIVIL DEFENSE guarding the entire schools in ENUGU

This is a proactive security arrangement to forestall security challenges to both lives of students and teachers and also valuable school properties like ICT equipment and laboratory equipment from burglary.

Gov Ugwuanyi has made substantial investment in public secondary schools in terms of building new classroom blocks, rehabilitation of existing ones, installation of motorized solar powered water storage for school lavatories, provision of computers and many enhanced tools to aid teaching

Gov Ugwuanyi has also received accolades for making Enugu the safest in Nigeria for residence and business
