MONITORING OF SCHOOLS CONTINUE TODAY AT AWGU, NSUKKA AND OBOLLO-AFOR EDUCATION ZONES.


Dr. Favour Ugwuanyi mni FCISM,* continued their impromptu visitation of schools to ensure that teachers adhere strictly to the 13th commandment of the Board, teachers attendance to school and classes, coupled with assessments of school facilities, Equipment fees and among other things.

For effective teaching and learning in Enugu State public secondary schools, the monitoring team set up by the Executive Chairman of PPSMB, *Dr. Favour Ugwuanyi mni FCISM,* continued their impromptu visitation of schools to ensure that teachers adhere strictly to the 13th commandment of the Board, teachers attendance to school and classes, coupled with assessments of school facilities, Equipment fees and among other things. The monitoring team went round the three education zones; Awgu, Nsukka and Obollo-Afor Zones. Team A led by Mrs Ify Dunu visited, CSS Ituku, GSS AGBOGUGU, CSS Ogbaku, Awgu High sch. Nenwe, CSS Emudo Nenwe, GSS Mgbowo, & Boys Sec. Sch Mgbowo all in Awgu Zone.
While, team B was led by Mrs Joy Francis Agbala, which visited CSS Nru, CSS Isienu CHS Umabor, CSS Ohodo, CSS Akutara, CSS Ozalla, CSS Umuna, CSS Ohebe - Dim, GSS Aku, CSS Aku, & Igbo Etiti Sec. Sch. Okolo all in Nsukka Zone.
Team C led by Mrs Chinedu Eze, on their part visited some schools in Obollo Afor Zone, such as; Igboeze SS Enugu Ezike, MCSS Ekposhi, CSS Mkpamute Uno, CSS Amufie, CSS UDA, BSS OVOKO, Iheaka Girls Sec. Sch. Iheaka, CSS Obollo-Afor, CSS Obollo Etiti and Ada CSS Obollo-Etiti.
During these visits, the teams observed the followings; that most of the Principals of schools visited were present before and during the morning assembly, school environments were clean, and very calm & conducive atmosphere for learning. Some form teachers were equally caught in the act of disobedience to the Board's 13th Commandments and were cautioned.
Speaking to the teachers during the visits by the various team leaders, they (teachers) were reminded about the job of teaching, which goes with conscience, in order to do the job as, "unto God and not unto man". Some of the teachers were advised to make amend on the way they discharge their duties for the betterment and future of the Students.
