Following the directives from the Executive Chairman of PPSMB Enugu, Dr. Favour Ugwuanyi mni FCISM, to all Principals of Post Primary Schools Management Board Enugu, to embark on painting of their School fences and light renovations of their School premises, enrollment of students in the official register, inclusion of students in PPSMB portal, handing over from Principals that were indicted by the monitoring team to either their Vice Principal's or next in command of their Schools, refund of SBMC collected without the approval of the Executive Chairman of the Board and finally, clearance of previous debts from last season till date.

The monitoring team from PPSMB headquarters went round Enugu metropolis and its environs to observe total compliance to the above directives.

During the monitoring, team A, led by the Board's Permanent Secretary, Engr. Remi Eze, visited, Queens School Enugu, Day Secondary School Independence layout, Newlayout Sec. Sch, City Girls Sec. Sch,Metropolitan Girls sec. Sch, and Urban Girl's Sec. Sch. Enugu.

While team B, led by Dr. Onah Ezikel also visited, National Grammar school Nike, Girls Sec. Sch Abakpa, Comm. High school Umuchigbo, Annunciation Sec. Sch. Nkwo Nike, Comm. High school Emene and Trans Ekulu Girls Secondary School Enugu.

Then Team C, and their leader, Ogbodo Ifeoma were at Comm. Sec. Sch. Amechi Idodo, Comprehensive Sec. Sch. Uzam Idodo, Comm. Sec. sch. Owo, Comm. Sec. sch. Ubahu and Comprehensive Sec. Sch. Mbulu - Owo.

Generally, the teams observed that about 98% of visited Schools environment were very clean and teachers were visibly present in all the schools.

Some Principals couldn't provide evidence of remittances but claimed to have done the needful. While there were evidence register of none compliance by some school teachers.

It was also discovered that some Principals collected SBMC without the Chairman's approval.

At CSS Owo and Trans Ekulu Girls Secondary School Enugu, all the buildings and administrative block were well painted and wore new looks.

On the spot check and attendance to school and classes were equally checked by the team.
