Dr Favour Ugwuanyi who tagged the visits, ON- THE - SPOT TEACHER/SCHOOLS ASSESSMENT MANDATE said it is most necessary to curb teacher absenteeism, monitor supervisory roles of the principals and also check the clearness of school environment. She also said the surprise visit is necessary to ensure teachers attendance and strict compliance with teaching time table. This is a welcome development to root out teacher absenteeism.

The human brain has a development timeline for quality learning, retention of information, as such experts in education created school calendar to enable structured, teaching and learning through incremental knowledge development cycle.

Learning is a progressive activity done through a methodical teaching, reading, testing and reports cycle called within a timeline called a SCHOOL TERM.
