PPSMB DECLARES A DAY OF FASTING AND PRAYER IN SECONDARY SCHOOLS
The Permanent Secretary, Enugu State Post Primary Schools Management Board, PPSMB, Evangelist Favour Ugwuanyi mni has declared Thursday next week (31/3/2022)a day of fasting and prayers against death of students in all public secondary schools in Enugu State
Dr. Mrs. Ugwuanyi made the declaration today (25/03/2022) during the normal Friday prayer session by members of staff of the PPSMB Headquarters Enugu.
She said that the fasting and prayer will last from 8am to 12noon and asked all principals of public secondary schools in the state to treat it as very important to curb cases of deaths among students and youths.
The Perm. Sec. used the occasion to pray to God to remove accidents, incurable diseases and untimely deaths from members of staff of the PPSMB.
Evangelist Ugwuanyi urged them to commit themselves more to God, "the author and finisher of your faith. God knows why all of us are in the positions we are and what we are facing."
She remarked that "this is a loveless season, you cannot have it all in life, you cannot have it all in marriage," and advised them to reconcile with their spouses if they had problem, train their children to know and fear God as well as endeavor to make their homes peaceful places.
