The Executive Chairman of PPSMB, Fr. Hilary Mgbodile (PhD), accompanied by CSP of Udi education zone, embarked on an impromptu visitation to schools to ensure that teaching and learning takes its proper shape.

 

At Girls High School Ugwuoba, Fr. Mgbodile and his team arrived at 7: 45 a.m. and conducted the assembly with about eleven students before the arrival of two teachers.

 

He informed the students that the present administration of Governor Peter Mba is ready to take education to another level as the era of exam malpractice is gone. The Chairman encourages the students to be in school always as teachers must be compelled to live within the areas of their schools for efficient and effective teaching and learning. In his words, "for teachers to be more productive, they must relocate to areas where their schools are located".

 

On her part, the Chief Supervising Principal of Udi Education Zone, who was also part of the team, advised the students to shun all vices and remain focused on accomplishing their destiny.

Fr. Mgbodile also took time to move around the school and viewed some dilapidated structures within the school premises.

 

Consequent upon this visit, all the staff who were absent during the visit; together with the principal are currently facing disciplinary actions.

 

The supervision continues to undisclosed locations.
