PPSMB : MANAGEMENT, STAFF CELEBRATE END OF THE YEAR MASS.

Christians are advised not to lose hope in God when they are faced with trials and tribulations

A Catholic priest, Reverend Father Paulinus Ogara gave the advice today while celebrating 2021 end of the year Mass for the Management and staff of the Enugu State Post Primary Schools Management Board, PPSMB, at the board's Headquarters Enugu.
He explained that every child of God passed through dark night of his/her soul just as John the Baptist who was in prison while Jesus Christ he proclaimed His coming was going about performing wonders. "Prepare for ordeals, trials, temptations and tribulations because every human being is weak, capable of terror and error," Father Ogara said.
According to him, Christians should not lose balance or faith, knowing that when in trouble, they are not alone and that their strength is in God, the comforter and consoler.
Reverand Father Ogara urged those in positions of authority to be considerate while dealing and talking to others, saying, "Let us also be comforters and consolers to one another. Let us learn even in administration to apply carrot and stick."
Some members of staff expressed joy with the end of the year Mass, saying that they had every reason to appreciate God who preserved them from January to December and enable them to record some achievements.
Comfort Nebo of Accounts Department said that her expectations of the mass were met and thanked the Permanent Secretary, Dr. Favour Ugwuanyi for making it possible for it to take place.
Similarly, the Director, Finance and Accounts Department, Mr. Bonaventure Odenigbo said he was satisfied with the mass and thanked God for His mercies upon the management and staff of the Board in 2021.
He prayed that God would continue to guide, protect and strengthen the Perm. Sec. Dr. Favour Ugwuanyi mni, to continue to pilot the affairs of the board aright.
The Head of Branch, Central Registry, Mrs. Joy Agbala described the mass as wonderful and thanked God that it was celebrated successfully.
The 2021 end of the year Mass featured prayers for the protection and progress of members of staff and management of PPSMB, Thanksgiving offering and Holy Communion.
