PPSMB PERM. SEC. DR. UGWUANYI mni TAKES STEP TO IMPROVE SCHOOL MONITORING
The Permanent Secretary, Enugu state Post Primary Schools Management Board, PPSMB, Dr Favour Ugwuanyi mni, has formed a formidable team for school monitoring and supervision. Members of the team include all the directors of the different Departments of the Board.
This is to improve the mechanism for school monitoring and supervision as well as evaluation of abandoned and dilapidated secondary school buildings in Enugu state.
The team commenced work yesterday (01/02/22) in the new year with a visit to four public secondary schools outside Enugu metropolis.
The four schools are CSS Ede Oballa, CSS Nru Nsukka, CSS Alor Uno and Urban Boys Secondary School Nsukka.
It checked lesson notes, attendance to school , the school environment, classrooms and teaching/learning as well as how well or poorly students are progressing with their assignments, working among themselves and with teachers one-on-one in all the schools visited.
Members of the team discovered some anomalies during the exercise and gave corrections.
