Following the hike in the cost of transportation, the PPSMB has decided to provide *Free transportation to the staff of the board; especially for those shuttling from the Urban to distant rural schools*. This will help to minimize the Lamentations of the rural teachers. *The shuttle service is expected to commence in the next two weeks.* Registration is already ongoing at the board's Headquarters for a *smart ID card* which is the required passport for the free shuttle buses.

 

Days for the free Shuttle: Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Fridays

 

ZONAL ROUTES SCHEDULE:

 

UDI Zone

 

1. From New Market to Ngwo uno to Ninth Mile to Oghe, Iwollo to Olo & back

2. From New Market to Nsude to Obioma to UdiAbia, Agbudu to Obinagu to Amokwe to Nachi, to Nkwo Eziagu, to Okpudo & back

3. From New Market to Ngwo Girls, Ninth Mile to Egede, Affa, Nze & back.

 

AWGU ZONE:

 

4. From Garki in front of UBA to Enugu Portharcout express to Ituku, Isuawa, Agbogugu, Ogbaku, Nenwe, The Junction to Mgbowo to Awgu & back

5. From UBA Gariki Enugu and move along Enugu to Portharcout express road branching from Nenwe to Oduma to Mpu to Ndeabor & back

 

AGBANI Zone

 

6. UBA Garriki through PH Express to Ozalla, to Agbani to Nara to Nkerefi & back

 

ENUGU Zone

 

7. From Abakpa Junction to Abakpa through NOWAS to Nkwo Nike to Ugwogo to Neke and then terminating at Ikem Junction & back

 

OBOLLO Zone:

 

8. Total Filling Station, Nsukka to Ovoko, Iheaka to Obollo to Uda, Amufie, Ekposhi, Ibagwa & back to Nsukka.

 

NSUKKA Zone

 

9. From Odenigbo Roundabout to Ikenga Hotel to OBIMO come through Ugbene Ajima to Adani & back

10. From Total Filling Station to IBAGWA ANI to OKPUJE to OKUTU & Back.

 

The second Phase of the shuttle services would take care of Urban routes.
