On 28th July 2023, the academic session of 2022/2023 came to an end. To God be the glory that it ended successfully with the students of the schools in our Zone going home with their results.

The ending of the academic session also witnessed parties held in schools as the SS3 students were being sent off. The joy of the graduating students knows no bounds. Their journey of secondary school education has come to an end. The Chief Supervising Principal of Obollo-Afor Zone, Chief Basil C. Ezugwu, among other pieces of advice given to the students, wished them well in their future endeavors. Some of the schools visited during the parties are GSS Owerre-Eze Orba, CSS Orba, CSS Obollo-Afor, IGSS Iheaka, CSS Umundu, etc.

It is worth noting that despite the send-off parties that went on in different schools, the Zonal Office was leaving no stone unturned in monitoring the conduct of NECO exams. A casual observation shows that the number of candidates that sit for the NECO exam is less than the number that sat for the just concluded WASSCE. The reasons for this are best known to the students.

As the students of our schools proceed on this year’s long vacation, we wish them God’s protection and more blessings.
