REPORT FROM OBOLLO-AFOR ZONE

NDI HEADQUARTERS NA NDI ZONE NA-AGAGARI!

The above statement was on the lips of all staff (tutorial and non-tutorial) throughout this week in Obollo-Afor Zone. It was not just a mere statement but a declaration of readiness to work by each staff so as not to be found wanting.
Even those that are not civil servants noticed that a force beyond the normal was waking up public secondary school teachers and making them to go to work so early and stay till dismissal time. What a good thing! To a great extent, it shows that the gains in these on the spot checks by both the Headquarters and Zonal staff cannot be over emphasized.
The week started with aggressive supervision of schools by the Supervising Principals of the Zone and the CSP, Chief Basil Ezugwu himself.
Within a short time, it was reported that headquarters’ staff have touched GSS Ibagwa-Aka and CSS Itchi. That was on Tuesday (25/10/2022). From Wednesday onwards, they continued to visit other schools. The Supervising Principals of the zone paid visits to MCSS Ekposhi, CSS Amalla and CSS Obollo-Etiti.
The CSP and his team went to CSS Uda and CSS Nkpamute-Ulo. All these were on Tuesday as well. Other schools visited after Tuesday are CSS Imilike-Ulo, BSS Ovoko, BSS Ibagwa-Aka, CSS Umundu, CSS Obollo-Afor and many others.
Observations this week:
- More than 90% of staff went to school on time and stayed till dismissal time.
- Lessons were delivered as at when due. No one wished to miss his/her class.
- Statutory records were kept up-to-date.
- Every school compound was kept clean.
- Teachers dressed smartly to school.
- Many Form Teachers started obeying the Board’s 13th Commandment.
- Principals were all alive to their duties.
- Parents were happy with the serious academic activities that went on normal.
It is good that this week was positively hot for schools in the zone.We all wish that it will continue like this!
Thanks to the digital Chairman of the Board, Evangelist Dr Favour Ugwuanyi mni fcism and her team. Thanks to the Chief Supervising Principal of Obollo-Afor Zone and his team.
