REWARD FOR GOOD WORK IS MORE WORK : ANCOPSS CHAIRMAN, ENUGU CHAPTER.
The Association of All Nigeria Confederation of Principals of Secondary Schools (ANCOPSS) Enugu chapter was today at Post Primary Schools Management Board, PPSMB Headquarters, Enugu to pay a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of the Board, Dr. Favour Ugwuanyi mni, in her office.
Speaking during the visit, Mr Robert Okorie, Chairman of ANCOPSS in Enugu State, appreciated the Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for finding the Executive Chairman worthy of the position. He said that the chairman recorded alot of achievements as Permanent Secretary of PPSMB, and that now as the Chairman, she is going to achieve more.
He urged the Executive Chairman to count on them as a body. His words "count on us for total support, so your stay as chairman will be a memorable one". He appealed to the Executive Chairman of PPSMB to always let them know whenever they are not doing well, so as to retrace their footsteps.
Reacting, the Executive Chairman said that she feels very honored to have them, in as much as they had been together for the past seven years, it's only status that changed.
She appreciated their visit and told them for having gone for one year training at NIPSS, she learnt that team work is very important and that for her to go far in this work, she needs their support. She equally maintained that everyone should be disciplined. She further told them that she has mapped out her plans, but only waiting for the arrival of Board members.
Dr. Ugwuanyi used the opportunity to inform them that they are going to be part of the committee for principals and teachers rationalization that will take place very soon.
All the executives of ANCOPSS at state and zonal level were present during the time of the visit.
