THE CLOSING CEREMONY OF SKILL FEST ACQUISITION PROGRAM


AS YOU GO HOME, CONTINUE TO PRACTICE WHAT YOU HAVE LEARNT : PPSMB CHAIRMAN TO STUDENTS.

As the saying goes; "that whatsoever has a beginning, must have an end", captures the situation yesterday as a good number of students gathered at the Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi Conference center, PPSMB, Enugu for the closing ceremony of 2022 skill fest acquisition program. This was organized by PPSMB Enugu in partnership with CEDInitiative and Ugo Touch of Life Foundation (U-TOLF).
The program which was tagged "One Student, One Skill", was aimed at teaching the students different skills during the long vacation in order to keep their minds and hands busy.
In her opening remarks, the Chairman of PPSMB, Dr. Favour Ugwuanyi mni FCISM, appreciated God for bringing the students to the end of the training and also to the Executive Governor of Enugu State, Rt. Hon. Dr. Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for his approval for the program.
She also thanked everyone that has contributed to the success of the program.
Dr. Ugwuanyi told the Students that the program which has ended today the 30th of September,2022, doesn't mean the end of learning, but that they are free to partner with the facilitators in order to be perfected in any of the skills.
In a big way, she applauded the efforts of the facilitators, In her words, "you are the reason why they are happy", She prayed that God will reward each and every one of them abundantly.
Dr. Ugwuanyi went round in company of Member 1, Hon. John Ugochukwu Eneze, Permanent Secretary of the Board, Engr. Remi Eze, Directors and Heads of Departments, to inspect the products produced by the students during the training.
Earlier in his speech, founder and Director of CEDInitiative, Engr. Donald Chukwanyi, expressed his gratitude to the Management and Staff of PPSMB. He told the audience that teachers were not part of the training, because this is the core job of most of the facilitators, which they use for a living.
The event featured, Intensive talk show on different skills learnt by the students, drama and presentations of prizes to outstanding students.
Member 1, Hon. John Ugochukwu Eneze in his closing remarks, prayed for God's continuous protection on the Students as they go back to their various schools for 2022/23 academic year.
